The diversity of features, prices, and even software are one of the many great things about android phones.

The idea of how great a phone is not limited to spec sheets and features, below you will see the absolute best and you can’t go wrong on either which you choose. The basis of this list is a combination of testing and reviews.

Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus

Why it is the best?

The mix of features, performance, and crazy camera system is what makes the S20 Plus a total powerhouse.

S20 phones are super powerful, but they’re also super costly. There is something that the S20 Plus is unable to do. This is a powerhouse with the Snapdragon 865, a whopping 12GB of RAM, and a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with an Infinity-O punch hole, although some argue that it is not exactly appealing. This high-performance machine packs only the best of the best, including a range of storage options, a battery of 4,500 mAh that is more than capable of making it through the day, and fast wired and wireless charging.

More significantly, in a way that’s thrilling and appealing, Samsung overhauled the camera system. The new camera has a Space Zoom feature that allows you to zoom up to 30x. It also has bokeh video recording, 8K video capture, and to keep people making all the other bells and whistles.

You should certainly check out the Samsung Galaxy S20 if you don’t need a giant phone and still want a similar Galaxy S20 Plus experience. It’s smaller, cheaper and more user-friendly. Conversely, if you want all of it, the greatest of the best, then be sure to take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, although for most people it is probably overkill.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

The combination of great features and performance makes the Note S20 Ultra one of the best Android phones overall.

Although Samsung’s most common line of devices is the Galaxy S family, the Galaxy Note line takes the S line’s strength and flexibility a few steps further. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, this is particularly true.

The Ultra model offers more since both the Galaxy Note 20 and 20 Ultra are targeted at demanding users. It has a larger, higher-resolution display, more RAM, a bigger battery, and a huge 108MP main camera sensor. It also supports the capacity that is expandable. The show on the Ultra is also the first one covered by Corning’s Victus Gorilla Glass.

This is a powerful phone featuring the Snapdragon 865 Plus (or the Exynos 990, depending on the market), 12 GB of RAM, and a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with an Infinity-O punch hole. Note 20 Ultra does not offer a 1TB option on the downside, but for most, the 128GB and 512GB options should be more than enough, especially with the expandable storage option.

Rated IP68 and comes with an S Pen stylus. The construction is also very impressive, with a case made of metal and glass materials as well as a curved screen. It’s a very expensive phone, but with a handset which has almost all the bells and whistles, that’s expected.

Google Pixel 5

A combination of great camera software and quality camera sensors made the Google Pixel 5 the best Android camera phone. Boosted with great software experience just like the rest of the Pixel phones.

The Pixel line-up, including the newest processor and all the features you might need, is known for sporting the best specs. By cutting some corners and making the phone more affordable, Google took a different approach with Pixel 5.

The most distinguishable difference is that the latest and greatest Snapdragon chipset available doesn’t come with this phone. Instead with the Snapdragon 765G, which still performs really well the search giant has chosen to go. We found this chipset to be comparable to the Snapdragon 845 in our tests.

Some requirements are as good as you can expect. You get 8GB of RAM, a big OLED monitor, and a good battery of 4,080mAh. In all kinds of lighting conditions, you also get a wonderful camera that can capture great pictures. Then there is also the feeling of tech, which is one of the reasons that people enjoy Pixel phones.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

The combination of solid hardware, amazing cameras, and long battery life with a quadruple-camera setup made Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro one of the better Android phones overall.

The Mi 10 Pro is a flagship phone in rivalry with the family of Oppo Find X2, Huawei P40 Pro, and Samsung S20. It’s a hard hitter built to cater to those who want the whole package: top results and good looks.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro sees four big tentpoles in the focus of the company: the display, processor performance, battery life, and the camera. Xiaomi has them in spades if these are the core features that would get you to part with your cash.

With the Mi 10 Pro, an unassuming, stealthy flagship that under promises and over-delivers, Xiaomi has kept its design chops in place. In the premium space, the 90Hz monitor, fast battery, and quad-camera array make the Mi 10 Pro a serious contender.

This $999 flagship has it all, apparently. In addition, thanks to the comfortable hardware, regular usability is perfect, and the efficiency is top-notch. Of course, those in the US won’t be able to get this phone officially, though finding an imported version online is simple enough.
